Invite: Beyond Blueprints Pop-up Exhibition with Of Architecture

Hi there,
Gubns and Of Architecture are thrilled to announce the 12 architect-makers selected for our pop-up exhibition in the London Design Festival and Open House Festival. We chose the brief Beyond Blueprints, challenging architect-makers to consider how their architectural background and the act of drawing in 2D has inspired or influenced crafting artworks in 3D.
Our Open Call received numerous submissions and several hours to deliberate. The following makers were chosen for their thoughtful response to the brief, exceptional craftsmanship and original designs. We invite you to explore the collection—exclusively available for sale on Gubns.
Join us for the opening reception on Friday, September 20th, from 5-8pm at Of Architecture’s studio in Haggerston, London. You’ll have the chance to meet the makers, shop the artworks and discover the stories behind each creation. The pop-up will be open all weekend, so you’re welcome to drop by anytime until Sunday, September 22nd at 5pm. After that, all artworks will be exclusively available on Gubns’ platform for a limited time.

Meet the architect-makers exhibiting at Beyond Blueprints:
Join us for a special evening of ice cream and tea mocktails set against the backdrop of the Beyond Blueprints pop-up exhibition. Together with Of Architecture, we have merged the world of design with culinary craftsmanship: the taster will be led by architect and ice cream maker, Matter at Hand, as well as architect and tea consultant, SANKO.
