Reflections, Connections and Looking Ahead
Highlights from Beyond Blueprints, Gubns Directory, Upcoming Events, Jobs

Hi there,
It’s been a little while since our last newsletter but we’re happy to keep your inbox uncluttered, with this being the last one for the year.
A major highlight has been the Beyond Blueprints pop-up exhibition, co-hosted with Of Architecture for both the London Design & Open City Festival. From the open call and curation process to the weekend activities, all the pieces came together in the end: 12 architect-makers showcased original artworks that revealed how 2D perspectives translates into 3D craftsmanship. We’re so proud and grateful to everyone who contributed and came to support this team effort!
If you’re looking for unique gifts this holiday, skip the shopping malls and major retailers—consider supporting independent designers and small businesses instead. Shop our limited edition collection here.
Highlights from the Taster
We also want to give a shout-out to Matter at Hand and Sanko Tea for hosting an unforgettable sensory experience. These tastemakers paired artisanal ice cream flavours with curated tea mocktails, blending culinary craft with design. Give them a follow on Instagram to see what they get up to next.
Gubns Directory: Connecting Talent with Opportunities
This year, we’ve received several requests from people looking for unique design solutions, commissions and bespoke services—whether from architects, furniture designers or other creatives. To meet this growing demand, we’re launching the Gubns Directory, comprising our growing network of architect-makers.
If you’d like to be considered for commissions, custom work or job openings, fill out the form here. If you’re someone in need of a designer or bespoke help, sign up as well and we’ll see if we have the right person for you. Gubns will help facilitate these connections and only take a small commission if the work is secured. Most times, finding work or the perfect fit is all about who you know!
